Public Relations Committee
The Stratford Tabernacle Public Relations Committee, through its outreach program otherwise called "Good Works", has been called to the task of humanitarian service in Bridgeport and its environs, by providing and assisting residents with food and other necessities, whilst evangelizing the word of God to those who are willing
to hear it.
Our mission is to ultimately assist in building the kingdom of God in Bridgeport, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 9:6, "But this I say, he which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly, and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully." It is our goal to fulfill the scripture, St. Matthew 5:16: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
We aim to contribute to the building of God's kingdom in Bridgeport, as stated in 2 Corinthians 9:6: "But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will reap bountifully." Our objective is to fulfill the scripture in St. Matthew 5:16: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."
We have become a beacon of hope within our community, receiving support from other churches, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and the Yale New Haven Hospital, Bridgeport Campus. In 2022, we were awarded a $10,000 ARP Faith-Based Grant from the City of Bridgeport to bolster our community service efforts and provide our tabernacle with multimedia equipment.
